For the past seven years I have been working to develop a machine which would work the forearm and the hand muscles together. The reason I decided to spend so much time on these two muscle groups is because they are the two most difficult muscle groups to build and yet the most critical muscle groups needed in weight training. There are twenty one separate muscles in the forearm. Each one having a different function. There are seven separate muscles in the hand. Each one also having a different function. Now, together, these two muscle groups have many different functions. They govern forward and backward, left to right, and also rotating clockwise and counter clockwise movements. To build these muscle groups in the right way we need to understand how they function individually and as a group. Once I understood how the muscles functioned, I created a machine that simulated this movement. By designing the machine this way, I minimized the likelihood of injury. Using the ArmWorks machine with proper form and correct weight increases, you will most likely be free of injuries and will look forward to your workouts. |
Alex Rothacker has been weight training since the age of 15. In 1992, he started working to develop a machine to work the hand and forearm in an anatomically correct movement. By creating a machine to work the muscles in an anatomically correct way, he felt it would not only develop superior hand and forearm muscles, but also help reduce the incidence of injury. Alex Rothacker also developed the Micro Weight System which allows the tendons, ligaments and muscles of the hand and forearms to build together at a slow rate for positive and injury free results. Using the combination of the Armworks machine and the Micro Weight System, Alex has increased his forearm and hand strength over 70%, well beyond what even he dreamed possible. And still his weight gains continue steadily with no signs of stopping. Most in proportionally using the ArmWorks machine along with the Micro Weight System, Alex has accomplished this all without a single injury. |
